Thanks to everybody who stopped by our 'Ask a Sustainability Expert' information booth this past weekend at the North Beach Jazz Festival - we had a blast speaking with you about all things green!
I'm just about done catching up on news after being out of the office for much of the first half of the month. Wow, there's just so much positive momentum building towards a more sustainable society now than there was when we first started just a few years ago - it's taking awhile to get all the good stories posted to CVI's online library of sustainability!
Now on to today's news, below. Thanks for reading - much more to come...
Cheers,
Jon

Come Visit Us at North Beach Jazz Festival This Weekend!
Do you like a combination of sustainability, booty-shakin' jazz/funk, and ice cold beer/cocktails on a sunny day in San Francisco? Stop by the North Beach Jazz Festival this Saturday and Sunday in Washington Square Park in San Francisco's North Beach neighborhood (click here for a map)! Conservation Value Institute (CVI) is honored to be the festival's non-profit partner for the third year running - a partnership that is sure to provide more green benefits for the festival and neighborhood moving forward now that challenges to the festival's existence have hopefully been put behind us.
When you get to the park, look for CVI's 'Ask a Sustainability Expert' Information Table. We'll have a few tip sheets on how to reap the benefits of greening your home and business, Green Zebra Coupon Books, organic cotton t-shirts for sale, and of course some cool green prizes to raffle off and give away !
Join us in spreading the word on how the rising energy independence revolution will revitalize America and the world!

Break From News for ROTHBURY Think Tank: 7/2 - 7/7
Greetings -
Just a note that we'll be taking a break from the news for the next few days to direct production of the ROTHBURY Think Tank.
I'll blog about what promises to be an unbelievable Think Tank - including such sustainability gurus as Dr. Stephen Schneider, Hunter Lovins, Eban Goodstein and Winona LaDuke, as well as members of such bands as Widespread Panic and STS9 - if I can. If not this week, definitely next week.
