I'm a tremendous fan of Better Place's electric vehicle systems, where instead of pulling into a gas station to refuel, you pull in for a battery change.People have pointed out that battery conversions would require lots more space than a gas station, but in thinking about it, I can see how, for example, an underground fuel tank might be converted into an underground battery storage and recharging facility.
In this post, Triple Pundit features a wonderful video of Agassi talking up Better Place's solutions. It's a very compelling sales pitch!
